As an event presenter on Yapsody, you have the option to collect your ticket revenue through multiple payment gateways specific to your country. Following these steps will help you obtain your Moneris payment gateway credentials and integrate it on Yapsody. These credentials will be used to enable online Credit/Debit card sales for your tickets online on your Yapsody Online interface.

Steps To Integrate Moneris For Accepting Payments

1. Obtain Merchant Details

Before integrating Moneris as your payment gateway on Yapsody, please obtain these details mentioned below.

  • Merchant Name
  • API Token
  • Store ID

To find your merchant name and store ID, please refer to Moneris Welcome letter/Email and activation Letter/Email. Once you have activated your account, you can retrieve the API token within the Moneris Gateway account. Moneris is only available for presenters who are based out of Canada and wish to process payments in Canadian Dollars. 

2. Go To Settings

Once you’ve obtained your merchant details, login to Yapsody and hover the mouse on the account name at the top left and click “Settings” from the Drop Down.

3. Add Payment Method

 Click on “Add Payment Method” at the top right or “Configure” right next to Credit Card.

Now select the payment method as “Credit card” and select “Moneris” from the List.

Enable Moneris for Online Ticket Store and Box Office

You can also enable the payment option for both the box office and online ticket store. Enter the Merchant Name, API Token and Store ID in their respective fields and click “Add” at the bottom of the pop-up to ensure they are saved.

You can also conduct a test transaction by clicking the “Test Transaction” option available just below “Payment Instructions” to ensure your details are set up correctly, once the transaction is successful you can refund the amount directly from your payment gateway account. 

Moreover, the payment instructions Field would be helpful in adding instructions such as “payment accepted via Credit as well as Debit card.” The instructions will appear on the checkout page.

Steps To Integrate Sage For Accepting Payments

1. Obtain Your Merchant Details

Before integrating Sage as your payment gateway on Yapsody, please obtain these details mentioned below.

  • Merchant Name
  • Merchant ID
  • Merchant Key

Your Merchant ID and Key can be found in your welcome email. If don’t have your welcome email, please submit a ticket with Sage Support. Sage is only available for our event presenters based out of the United States of America to process payments in USD. 

2. Go To Settings

After you’ve obtained your merchant details, login to Yapsody and click on “Settings” from the drop-down list in your account.

SixPay is only available for presenters who are based out of the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Isle of Man and wish to process payments in GBP.

After you’ve obtained your merchant details, login to Yapsody and click on “Settings” from the drop-down list in your account.

Event organizers who operate through their Wix site can use the Yapsody Events Calendar” plugin to display their events in a Calendar view. On click of the event from the calendar, your ticket buyer will be redirected to the event page of the venue from where they could purchase tickets.

This plugin bridges the gap between the presenter’s Wix platform and their Yapsody Online Ticket Store to market their events on their website pages within a calendar. It dynamically displays events on the calendar as and when an event is added, updated or deleted in the Yapsody Box Office platform

Steps to Install Yapsody’s Event Calendar Plugin on Wix

1. Edit Your Template

Edit your template from the frontend and you’ll see a screen with the edit elements.

Click on the “Add” button from the left menu after which you will see the following screen.

2. Embed A Site 

After you click on the “More” tab you will see the above options like site search, embed, pay button, etc. Drag and drop the “Embed a site” element on your screen area as shown in the following screen.

3. Fetch Venue’s Event Data

For fetching your venue’s event data you need to enter the website URL for this element. The URL is “https://plugins.yapsody.com/calendar/index.html?venue_code=demo”

Here, “demo’ is a venue code of your account which is nothing but your online store without .yapsody.com For example demo.yapsody.com. If your online store is abc.yapsody.com then the URL would be “https://plugins.yapsody.com/calendar/index.html?venue_code=abc

4. Enter Website Address

Click on the “Enter Website Address” button.

Choose “Website Address” and enter the URL under “What’s the website address?” Click on “Apply” & you will see the list of events with the Calendar.

Following these steps will help you set up your PlugNPay payment gateway credentials.

Steps to Integrate PlugNPay For Accepting Payments

1. Create Your PlugNPay Account and Fetch Credentials

Contact the PlugnPay gateway provider to create your account. Post account creation, you will need five mandatory details mentioned below to integrate Plugnpay with Yapsody.

  • Merchant Name
  • Publisher Name
  • Publisher Password
  • Boxoffice Site Key
  • Online Store Site Key 

Below are the steps to find the Payment gateway credentials in Plugnpay gateway account: 

  • Merchant Name

The event presenter can set any merchant name of his choice. 

  • Publisher Name

The publisher’s name will be the username that you use to login to the PlugNPay payment gateway account. You need to enter this username in the ‘Publisher name’ textbox field shown in your Yapsody account.

  • Publisher Password

You can create a presenter Password by following the below steps in your Plugnpay payment gateway account:

  1. Log into the PlugNPay account.
  2. Click on Security Administration.
  3. Click on username password configuration.
  4. Click on Manage remote client password.
  5. Here you can enter a password of your choice or can generate a password from the system.

Now this ‘Publisher Password’ needs to be entered in the Publisher password field shown in your Yapsody account.

  • Box Office Site Key

You can generate a Box office Sitekey by following the below steps in your Plugnpay gateway account.

  1. Log into the PlugNPay account.
  2. Click on Security Administration.
  3. Click on Transaction security configuration as shown in the above 2nd screenshot.
  4. Search for the ‘Add Site Key’ option.
  5. Enter the Boxoffice URL (boxoffice.yapsody.com) in the Domain field and click on Add Site key.
  6. A Site key will be generated below, with the URL and the Site key against it.

You need to copy this Sitekey from your payment gateway account and paste it in the Yapsody Box office interface ‘Site key’ field shown in the Yapsody account.

  •  Online Store Site key:
  1. Follow the same steps used to generate the Box office Site key, just log into PlugnPay gateway account.
  2. Click on Security Administration.
  3. Click on Transaction security configuration.
  4. Search for ‘Add Site Key’ option. (Similar as Box office Site Key)
  5. Enter the Yap secure URL [yapsecure.net] in the Domain field and click on Add site key.
  6. An Online Store Site Key will be generated besides the URL.

You need to copy this ‘Online Store Site key’ and enter it in the ‘Online Store Site key’ field shown in the Yapsody account. 

2. Add Your Credentials in Yapsody Account

In your Yapsody account, the ‘ PlugNPay ‘ payment gateway option is shown under ‘Credit Card’ drop down which is under the ‘Settings’ > ‘ Accept Payment ‘ tab.

Now after entering all the valid gateway credentials in Yapsody account as shown in the above screenshot, you can click on the ‘Test Transaction’ button to perform a test transaction with a valid credit card to check if the payment gateway is configured and working correctly for your Yapsody account.

You will find your Test and Live API keys of all your website profiles. You can easily copy the code by clicking the ‘copy’ button next to the API Key. You will need the Live API key to link your account with Yapsody and enable online credit card transactions.

You need to add the Live API key to your Yapsody account.

3. Enable Payment Methods

Enable payment methods in your Mollie account for ticket buyers to be able to pay using the multiple payment methods. Click on Settings on the left-hand side and select ‘Payment Methods’.

You find multiple payment methods supported by Mollie like iDeal, SOFORT Banking, Bancontact, PayPal, Credit Card, etc. Select the payment options you want to enable for your account.

4. Integrate Live API Keys 

Add the Live API keys from the Mollie account to your Yapsody account to enable online card sales. Login to your Yapsody account under ‘Settings‘ select Accept Payments and click on configure.

You will get a pop-up window to enter the API keys. Enter the API keys from your Mollie account and mention the supported payment methods like iDeal, SOFORT Banking, Bancontact, PayPal, Credit Card, etc. enabled by you in the payment instructions.

As an event presenter on Yapsody, you have the option to collect your ticket revenue through multiple payment gateways specific to your country. Following these steps will help you locate your Authorize.net payment gateway credentials. These credentials will be used to enable online Credit/Debit card sales for your tickets online on your Yapsody Online interface.

Steps To Integrate Authorize.net For Accepting Payments

1. Visit Authorize.net

Visit their site – http://www.authorize.net/ and log in to your account.

Login to Authorize.net

2. Select API Credentials

Click on the Account Tab on the main page.

Go to Account Settings

Select ‘API credentials and keys’ option under  Security Settings.

Select API settings

You will be displayed your API Login Id. You will need to answer your Secret question set by you while setting up the account to obtain your Transaction key. Once, you answer the question you will be able to obtain the transaction key. You will need to enter the API Login Id and Transaction Key to link your Authorize.net account with Yapsody and enable online credit card sales.

As an event presenter on Yapsody, you have the option to collect your ticket revenue through multiple payment gateways specific to your country Following these steps will help you locate your Stripe Payment Gateway credentials which will be used to enable online Credit/Debit card sales for your tickets online on your Yapsody Online interface.

Steps to Integrate Your Stripe Account

1. Visit The Stripe Store

Visit their site – https://stripe.com/ and log in to your account.

On your dashboard, click on the ‘Developers’ option shown on the left side of the page. Then click on ‘ API ‘ from the multiple options displayed to view your Live API credentials.

Test API

You will need the Live Secret Key and Live Publishable key to integrate your Stripe account and enable online credit card transactions. 

2. Set Up Stripe Descriptor

Stripe provides you an option to customize the text that appears on your ticket buyer’s credit card statement displaying the charge post-transaction. To customize that text, edit the statement descriptor in your Stripe account settings at Business Settings -> Business -> Public Information -> Statement descriptor.

Yapsody as a default sends dynamic descriptors based on the event title so that each transaction can be identified based on the event. Users can enable or disable this feature for the Stripe payment gateway configuration.

With dynamic descriptor enabled, the statement descriptor for your ticket buyers would show the event name of purchased tickets.
