Creating And Applying Taxes For Your Events

With Yapsody, you have the functionality of creating and applying taxes to your event tickets. Each country and region has its own set of tax laws and regulations that need to be followed diligently. To match this requirement, you can create and apply taxes with Yapsody. 

Steps to Create and Apply Taxes for Your Events

1. Go to Settings 

Click on “Settings” found in the drop-down menu of your Box Office.

2. Add A New Tax 

Click on the “Taxes” tab and click on the “Add Tax” button. Add a new tax, enter the name of the tax and the amount that needs to be charged for any ticket buyer.

3. Apply A Tax 

Enable or disable the tax you wish to apply by default when setting up new events. Choosing to make it active by default, you’ll have the option to manually deactivate it on an event-by-event basis. Alternatively, if you choose to make it inactive by default, you will still have the option to manually activate it on an event-by-event basis.
