Reducing, Removing, Or Unholding Seats For A General Admission Event
There might be occasions when you might have to unhold your event seats to make them available for your ticket buyers. Reducing, removing, or unholding seats from our hold management tab makes more event tickets available to your ticket buyers.
Steps To Reduce, Remove, or Unhold Seats For A Reserved Seating Event
1. Select Your Event
Login to your Yapsody account and select the event from your Box Office Calendar for unholding seats. Click the option “Edit” available at the top right just above your event name. You will be directed to the Event Wizard page, wherein you have to select the option Hold Management.
2. Reduce, Remove or Unhold Seats
Under Hold Management, you will find a number of Hold Categories and Sections. Click on the sections to find out the held seats in them. You need to remove or reduce the number as per your preference and click on “Save & Proceed.”
If you have held 10 seats and now want 5 seats to be released, add or change the number to 5 from 10. If you held 10 seats and now want all the 10 seats to be released, remove 10 and leave count space as blank.
