Installing Yapsody’s Event Calendar – WordPress Plugin

Event organizers who operate through their WordPress site can use the “Yapsody Events Calendar” plugin to display their events in a Calendar view. On click of the event from the calendar, your ticket buyer will be redirected to the event page of the venue from where they could purchase tickets.

This plugin bridges the gap between the presenter’s WordPress platform and their Yapsody Online Ticket Store to market their events on their website pages within a calendar. It dynamically displays events on the calendar as and when an event is added, updated or deleted in the Yapsody Box Office platform

Steps to Install Yapsody’s Event Calendar Plugin

1. Using WordPress Plugin Search

The easiest way of installing our plugin is to use the plugin search from your WordPress dashboard. 

Find the plugin by typing the name and WordPress will download and install the plugin for you. You will see the success message with a button to activate the plugin.

Click on the activate plugin link to activate it on your WordPress site.

2. Using the WordPress Admin Plugin Upload

Download Yapsody’s Event Calendar plugin rom the source by clicking here. Next, you need to go to the WordPress dashboard and visit Plugins » Add New page.

This will bring you to the plugin upload page where you need to click on the choose file button and select the plugin file you downloaded.

After you have selected the file,  click on the install now button. WordPress will now upload the plugin file from your computer and install it for you. You will see a success message like this after the installation is finished.

Once installed, you need to activate it and configure your plugin settings.

Here’s how the Events Calendar displays events on the calendar for a sample venue.
